Paul:
I imagine you are very tired by now, but elated! What a success you made over here! I wrote a note to the forum and included it below along with an attachment below.
I uploaded a number of photos to photobucket, but have not figured out how to download a picture to a response to a forum discussion. My attempts to use the search function give me every entry. Can you send me the link to the directions for how to use photobucket? Or tell me how?
I really like the webcam idea. I also enjoyed the aft looking forward shots of all the boats, one by one. These would fit well in your moving set of frames, I think. My boatitus fever is running high right now with no end in sight. Even cold showers don't help!
Regards,
Jerry
All:
Thanks for all the wonderful pictures and videos. Boys, I really missed something!!!! I had to put sunglasses on just to look at some of the shine on the boats there. It would be hard to estimate the number of man and woman hours (remember 1 woman can do the work of 10 good men) represented by these floating showcases.
It made me look at my past photos and my chrome parts and emblems on Summer Palace Whew. Something has to be done there! The word "immaculate" keep coming to my mind as I saw the work and time represented on all of the forum photos. Also, I am glad I did not have to manuver Summer Palace into a slip in front of all yall. LOL. I am still trying to remember which levers are gas and which go to the transmissions.
We have come up with an emblem of our work here in Iraq. I add it for the symbolism of significance of everything we do. The Chris Craft emblems remind us and represent the standards that CC set, let us try to emulate that.
