We extend to you a cordial "WELCOME ABOARD !" Come on in, make yourself at home, we are a friendly group of enthusiasts, and we also appreciate the classic Chris Craft Roamer, Corsair, and Lancer boats too , as they are all on the same family tree and share much in common !
We recently purchased a 1977 Chris Craft Tournament Sportfish (Ray Hunt design) and I'm looking into cleaning up a lot of the old wiring. I looks like the majority of the boat was wired with factory assembled harness's with pin and sleeve ganged terminal blocks mounted on brackets, each with numbered lableing - "J-22", "J-23", etc. Since it was done in such an organize manner would it be safe to assume that a schematic is available somewhere identifying each terminal block. The original wiring looks more like something you'd see on an aircraft than a boat. What has been installed over the last 31 years on the boat isn't quite up to those standards.
