I think Sabor was previously named Platinum Lady or something. In 1990 or 1991 my parents were anxious to try to find a 60' commander and My dad and I flew to Palm Beach to check out this "Bristol Condition" 60 Commander. This boat was a complete dog both inside and out. Cosmetically a 2 out of 10 and mechanically appeared poorly cared for. The broker's story was that this was DuPont Families former boat. I couldn't have been more disappointed. Needless to say no offer was made. In 1987 and 1988, I lived in Ft. Lauderdale and there was a gorgeous 60 commander at Pier 66. This boat looked so spectacular I would go walk the docks weekly back then and check out all the boats but that 60' was simply goreous. I guess it helped that the boat was still a teenager where now it would be pushing 40 years old.
