Hi Paul and thanks for the welcome.

The systems port and starboard work. The starboard boot/bellows located on the ram assy. going through the boat bottom has been replaced with a rigid hose thus making it inoperable - the port side has the original boot/bellows but it is torn and leaks.

Reading about the effectiveness of the tabs on my (New to me) boat I wonder if I wouldn't be better off locking them fully raised rather then trying to repair.

Any thoughts would be apreciated.
