CHRIS CRAFT COMMANDER FORUM ® .......A photo-intensive technical reference file and ongoing newsletter regarding the original fiberglass Chris Craft Commander. Our mission at this independent not-for-profit non-commercial web site is to "have fun and share information" for your individual personal use. Our main reference feature is the ever expanding MASTER INDEX Files which contain exhaustive photo and technical information on the Chris Craft Commander line (like these original brochure scans, featuring the iconic 38 Commander designed by Fred Hudson) , (an awesome collection of Chris Craft 427 tuning and specification information), and a few words about how to use the information in the forum, etc. Be sure to look at the information about the 2009 Lake Erie Chris Craft Commander / Roamer Rendezvous, second year in a row at Huron, Ohio, held in August of 2009 !! If you're a Commander fan, this will be an event you won't want to miss next time around.

We extend to you a cordial "WELCOME ABOARD !"

Response to Finally baaaack at the ranch

Well here are some of the candid photos I got from my Iphone, and I understand there are others on the way from the rest of the group, including yours truely at the helm in the dark on the way home when one nice gal decided to get me with a flashbulb that just about ruined my night vision all together. I think it's a "deer in the headlights" kind of image, but we'll see.

Here we are aboard TRADITION getting ready to depart as soon as the last straggler arrives. These are all my co-workers and its a fabulous group, not a bad apple in the bunch.

And we're off! It was a fabulous day right after a huge storm swept the area. Air was clean and cool, great to be out on the water.

Here we are at the now infamous Blue Moon Lagoon !!

On board TRADITION still at the docks, we broke out the cigars and adult beverages.

Unfortunately this was a dark and difficult event to photograph with a crappy camera phone, so while we were having a great time, it was not documented with the camera. It is telling, to see these photos taken with a hand held phone, and also seeing several photos where people are checking their email on their own hand helds. We're an information intensive business, and we all know how to run circles around the techno-communications circuit. When this photo was taken it was right about the time I got a call from Mark saying he was just given a mission to be in Nashville this Sunday, so guess what? We'll be back at the Blue Moon Lagoon with Mark, hopefully aboard TRADITION too.

Today at the office the mood is, well, pretty much off the charts. People are not able to surpress big smiles, everyone is chuckling about all the fun we had, and that ride back in a blinding rain storm was one of the best things that ever happened. Everyone now wants to go back on a day when rain is in the forecast, ha!

Regards,

Paul
