CHRIS CRAFT COMMANDER FORUM ® .......A photo-intensive technical reference file and ongoing newsletter regarding the original fiberglass Chris Craft Commander. Our mission at this independent not-for-profit non-commercial web site is to "have fun and share information" for your individual personal use. Our main reference feature is the ever expanding MASTER INDEX Files which contain exhaustive photo and technical information on the Chris Craft Commander line (like these original brochure scans, featuring the iconic 38 Commander designed by Fred Hudson) , (an awesome collection of Chris Craft 427 tuning and specification information), and a few words about how to use the information in the forum, etc. Be sure to look at the information about the 2009 Lake Erie Chris Craft Commander / Roamer Rendezvous, second year in a row at Huron, Ohio, held in August of 2009 !! If you're a Commander fan, this will be an event you won't want to miss next time around.

We extend to you a cordial "WELCOME ABOARD !"

Response to 2008 Huron event makes it to Classic Yacht Magazine ! ( Just Released ! )

Bill Prince has helped get the word out about our Commander fun on Lake Erie, showcasing our 2008 event, and now he's going to give us a little coverage again this year! Every little bit helps, and coupled with the planning and footwork Matt O'Donnell and Tim Toth do making "real contact" with the yacht club, boat basin, Cleveland Boat Show, and marinas all along the Erie coastline, things come together eventually with a successful event that can be shared world-wide.

There will be a nice article coming up in the next edition of Classic Yacht about the big Rendezvous of 2009, check closely you might even see a photo of yourself if you were there! happy.gif Bill selected the photos, by the way, in case anyone is wondering happy.gif

Here is the link to Classic Yacht, showcasing the now current edition, but in a few days it will transition over to the September / October edition, and people will be reading about all the fun we had at Huron, Ohio, 2009.
