Dave,
So you think the one and only bidder tossed in a bit of $2350 right out of the box? Why not $500, or $1800, why $2350. Inquisitive minds want to know! Either the seller or perhaps the new owner better watch the caller ID, and better NOT pick up the phone if they see Mark Weller's number. It could get ugly.
Goodlettsville had a scare this week end, don't think they got much damage. All of middle Tennessee was basically terrorized by the local media all day Saturday, all of us thinking we were going to have to run for cover numerous times during the day. Thankfully we didn't get much here except torrential rain, which made the Cumberland run fast but Old Hickory Lake looked pretty good Sunday, but with lots of whitecaps. The Skiff would have been happy out there but would have needed a lot of fenders at the dock where we were as we were looking directly into the wind.
After the storm blew by, we gave it a 30 minute head start and then we followed the trailing edge of the front out to Old Hickory Lake, looking at the clear sky and the moon overhead, and looking east at all the firework lightning still jumping around on the thunderheads beyond. Pretty surreal.
When you see that Corsair on the market again let me know, I have a sesame and ginger recipie I'd like to try on you.

Regards,
Paul
