We extend to you a cordial "WELCOME ABOARD !" Come on in, make yourself at home, we are a friendly group of enthusiasts, and we also appreciate the classic Chris Craft Roamer, Corsair, and Lancer boats too , as they are all on the same family tree and share much in common !
When i bought the boat the previous owner had died all the canvas black and trimmed everything RED I just could not stand the fire engine red paint on the boat. Part of the reason i bought the boat was so that i could get that red covered up! It looked terrible, wish I would have took a few pictureds of it before going black, but then again I'm glad i did not.LOL The stand is made of aluminum and i will post some better pics of it when i get a chance. I have the boat in south Mississippi on the Gulf Coast, the black bottom paint is what we do here. Most boats in my immediate are have the same. The local marina/yard did my bottom job with my supervision. A boat at my marina was rcently hauled up after 5 years docked next to mine and the bottom was still beautiful, and he had the same paint. I just figured(hoped) my bottom would look the same in a few years. It is Pettit Trinidad paint, with Pettit easypoxy boot stripe
