We extend to you a cordial "WELCOME ABOARD !" Come on in, make yourself at home, we are a friendly group of enthusiasts, and we also appreciate the classic Chris Craft Roamer, Corsair, and Lancer boats too , as they are all on the same family tree and share much in common !
Thanks, Paul, as usual, for your quick and conscientious follow-up.
I have searched for some time on the Wefco site, but I frankly can't tell whether I'm looking at aluminum extrusions or rubber inserts when I review the black-silhouetted cross sections.
I'll try again.
My yard mechanic has a number of sources for extrusions and he's quite familiar with older boats, since he owns a '77 Commander 35' double cabin, twin 350's (which is for sale, BTW). He says the 1/2" lip is going to be difficult to cover with the metal rub-rail exgtrusions he's familiar with. He did an on-line search, as well, without success and suggests I continue to search on my own. Let me know if you find any likely suspects.
Don't worry about the bass boat bling. I'll stay miles away from that stuff!
