We extend to you a cordial "WELCOME ABOARD !" Come on in, make yourself at home, we are a friendly group of enthusiasts, and we also appreciate the classic Chris Craft Roamer, Corsair, and Lancer boats too , as they are all on the same family tree and share much in common !
I have a 31 commander just like Mike Burdettes. Well here's the question... I need to pull her out of the water for a little prop work and good bottom painting. I was wondering if anyone knew what the rules and regs on towing this beast on trailer would be. I live in Florida and i've seen some bigger boats on trailers locally. I only live 7 miles from the marina/ramp and I have a big diesel 4x4 to pull with. I was thinking of buying a double or triple axle trailer just for pullouts, hurricanes, etc. It's so much easier to bring her to my shop and work on her in a/c or get her away from a storm.
