Hi guys, this is kind of a sad message to post on the Commanders forum, but my friend Jim and I have decided its time to sell our Commander Sportfisher and move on to a different (but as yet undecided) project boat - maybe something with diesel power that we can cruise up the Pacific coast.
Our commander has been a LOT of fun and we have had many great times on it. It is running great. It has been a fresh water boat for at least 32 years now, and is in very decent condition for it's age. Power is twin 427 big block 300HP Fords (pertronix ignition, new Edelbrock marine carbs, high performance electric fuel pumps). The boat also has a working 6KW Kohler genset that we use quit often (especially for winter cruises when we run electric heat).

We had the boat surveyed when we got it in 2005, and had it dry-docked for hull painting, new zincs, new depth finder transducer, and other below-waterline work. The hull is in beautiful condition, with zero blisters or other defects.
I have created a web page with a bunch of photos of our boat here:

We are asking $24,995. If interested, contact me here:

Thanks. and best wishes to Paul and the rest of the Commander crew!
