Paul, Kevin, and All:
Yes, Kevin came by and inspected my work. We had a good time visiing about all things Chris Craft and the forum. We also settled several of the world problems. If only...
Actually, I've had this boat for a while, just under wraps at the marina. It is a lancer with the prop tunnel drive and the engine runs great. We took it out last fall when I got it, and Rich Duane had the pleasure of taking it around the point. Lucky for us, he did the job because there was a leak in one of the exhaust pipes causing a lot of condesation and the subsequent engine mal-performance. None the less, he got it done, we got loaded and the rest is history.
Yes, I have the boat camoflaged in white shrink wrap like some of the others. Heh, heh.
We had a great time visiting and talking about gas prices, ethenol, slip rentals and strategies for dealing with all this, a kind of mini-rondevous. I hope others get to visit and listen to others in similar arenas where we can talk boats this summer. It is a great activity for reenforcing our boatitus disease. This forum facilitates this kind of exchange for trading information and having fun!
