We extend to you a cordial "WELCOME ABOARD !" Come on in, make yourself at home, we are a friendly group of enthusiasts, and we also appreciate the classic Chris Craft Roamer, Corsair, and Lancer boats too , as they are all on the same family tree and share much in common ! Just start by posting a note introducing yourself to the group, that's all it takes here (we don't ask for or retain any personal information here, because our intention is to just "have fun and share information".
Hey go ahead and list that 27 in the for sale section. Man that's an impressive fleet you're working on buddy. I like the fiberglass Century boats too, they built some nice clean models and most of them had plenty of power too. I always preferred the wood Chris Craft construction with double planking to the single board and batten hull bottoms on the Century, but the fiberglass boats didn't have any issues I'm aware of. They are good looking, well appointed, and fast.
Hope someone gets the 27 who will give it the care and attention it deserves. They are fun boats and a flybridge is cool on a boat that size. Next best thing to an amusement park thrill ride, lol.
