We extend to you a cordial "WELCOME ABOARD !" Come on in, make yourself at home, we are a friendly group of enthusiasts, and we also appreciate the classic Chris Craft Roamer, Corsair, and Lancer boats too , as they are all on the same family tree and share much in common ! Just start by posting a note introducing yourself to the group, that's all it takes here (we don't ask for or retain any personal information here, because our intention is to just "have fun and share information".
Hi. I know your thread on here is fairly old but I just purchased a 1980 42' Chriscraft Tournament/Sportfish. The boat was not properly maintained but is built heavy and has still stood the test of time. Anyhow I have some electrical gremlins I need to work out and any wiring diagrams you might have I would appreciate. In particular at the moment my flybridge key switch, gauges, and engine start/stops are all non-op. I want to get these items fixed asap. I can bypass the factory wiring and pull power from a nearby panel but I would prefer to wire up the way it was originally done to maintain functionality of my salon breaker panel.
Beyond that as you know there is not much info available for these boats. If it were a hatt or a bert I could find a lot more. Can you please kindly send me anything you have pertaining to my boat that you think may be useful? I will gladly repay you somehow for the trouble. Do you still have a chris?
