We extend to you a cordial "WELCOME ABOARD !" Come on in, make yourself at home, we are a friendly group of enthusiasts, and we also appreciate the classic Chris Craft Roamer, Corsair, and Lancer boats too , as they are all on the same family tree and share much in common ! Just start by posting a note introducing yourself to the group, that's all it takes here (we don't ask for or retain any personal information here, because our intention is to just "have fun and share information".
I bet you're going to love that boat. I know a guy who had & restored one of these. He's moved on to a similar Bertram now. Liked both boats for what they are, but admits the Chrissy got up and ran a lot quicker than the Bert.
In my opinion, you'll get way more OEM type of information for your Chris Craft than you'll find from any other manufacture & particular vintage. Contact the Mariner's Museum and order the diagrams you're looking for. CC years ago donated all their documentation (hull cards, diagrams, marketing literature, etc.) This will not hurt you if you've had devious previous owners that changed a lot of stuff along the way, but it can help you get it back to original.
