We extend to you a cordial "WELCOME ABOARD !" Come on in, make yourself at home, we are a friendly group of enthusiasts, and we also appreciate the classic Chris Craft Roamer, Corsair, and Lancer boats too , as they are all on the same family tree and share much in common ! Just start by posting a note introducing yourself to the group, that's all it takes here (we don't ask for or retain any personal information here, because our intention is to just "have fun and share information".
I was unable to locate any hull numbers despite quite an effort. I suspect the transom repairs some years ago may be the culprit here.
I have taken a series of pictures of the boat thinking this might make the vintage clearer to you experts. I did find a curious date of June 1963 stamped on the back of the tachometer. I also got shots of the engine and drive serial numbers thinking that might help.
I bought this boat in 1977 as a 1968 which it has been registered as ever since....Originally sold, I think by Crusader Marine in Warren Michigan.
Thanks again for the interest in our old boat...it has become part of our family! Several times it was not worth fixing but we did it any way...
You will see that the boat is not original especially the interior motor box and the stern seat is gone....made for better fishing as we salmon fish most summers out of Muskegon Michigan.
