The upward acting "garage door" window on Mike's 23' Commander is a cool feature, and it looks like it's primary protocol is for ventilation in the cabin. It's secondary function is for access to the bow. On the Lancer, this evolved into a "swinging door" concept. Both work, and it's interesting to see how the feature changed. Perhaps it was feedback from the boat owners CC surveyed, that initiated this change, or maybe a design team had their own think-tank ideas. In any case, I'd be fine with either concept. After all, it says "Chris Craft" on the side, heh heh.
So many boats, so little time!
Thanks for the photo documentation, Rickard.
