We extend to you a cordial "WELCOME ABOARD !" Come on in, make yourself at home, we are a friendly group of enthusiasts, and we also appreciate the classic Chris Craft Roamer, Corsair, and Lancer boats too , as they are all on the same family tree and share much in common !
My 1968 35' Sea Skiff Clipper, also named "CLIPPER", had a great little alarm system for low oil pressure, which also worked great for a stalled engine, because naturally stalled engines have no oil pressure.
Starting mode, I had to push a button to deactivate the alarm when the key was turned on. As soon as the motor started and oil pressure built up, I could release the button. Once under way if I stalled an engine I would hear the bell go off. Pretty easy wiring job and quite useful too.
The bell worked well, it would demand your attention, while the light might come on and you would totally miss it in sunlight or other distraction.
