We extend to you a cordial "WELCOME ABOARD !" Come on in, make yourself at home, we are a friendly group of enthusiasts, and we also appreciate the classic Chris Craft Roamer, Corsair, and Lancer boats too , as they are all on the same family tree and share much in common !
Regarding the prior post... should I be concerned about the integrity of the mufflers if they don't build up pressure like others I've heard?
I understand that the original box type mufflers play some role in stopping water from reaching the engines... perhaps because they are "lift" type mufflers. Is this correct? If so, and I'm not hearing the classic sound, might their protection be gone?
I don't want to replace a component that is working fine, so I'd appreciate your advice!
