We extend to you a cordial "WELCOME ABOARD !" Come on in, make yourself at home, we are a friendly group of enthusiasts, and we also appreciate the classic Chris Craft Roamer, Corsair, and Lancer boats too , as they are all on the same family tree and share much in common !
LABOR DAY has come and gone, the boating season is OVER !

It irks me to no end, that all across the land people basically have the attitude that the boating season (and summer) is over because September 1 has rolled around. Of course we must face the reality of changing seasons, except for some lucky people in Florida areas, in Central and South America, and Australia now coming into warmer weather, but for North America there is still a lot of boating left. Autumn boating is some of the best. You don't just cook like an egg, you can be outdoors and enjoy it. It's no fun going boating if you have to be in an air conditioned compartment!
I am even getting requests to go out when it is raining, by some friends I had out one night when we got caught in a terrible downpour after dark. Seems that they had so much fun they want to do it again. When I turned on the spotlight I quickly realized it was producing so much glare I could not see ANYTHING, and it looked like we were about to put the bow of the 38 Express into the foot of Niagara Falls.
Some of the best boating days of the year are still to come !
