Paul and All:
Sometimes we find something to share. I now use paint stripper that comes in a spray can. It gets into all the tight places. After letting it set, I spray it down with water in an area where it can't enter the water system and the old paint just jumps off. It works better on aluminum, than older, somewhat rusted iron. That requires a couple of shots. I guess you could buy the stripper in 2 gal. cans and apply it with a paint brush but then it slops all over the place too easy or drips off the brush, at least for me.
Jerry Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?
