CHRIS CRAFT COMMANDER FORUM ® .......A photo-intensive technical reference file and ongoing newsletter regarding the original fiberglass Chris Craft Commander. Our mission at this independent not-for-profit non-commercial web site is to "have fun and share information" for your individual personal use. Our main reference feature is the ever expanding MASTER INDEX Files which contain exhaustive photo and technical information on the Chris Craft Commander line (like these original brochure scans, featuring the iconic 38 Commander designed by Fred Hudson) , (an awesome collection of Chris Craft 427 tuning and specification information), and a few words about how to use the information in the forum, etc. Be sure to look at the information about the 2009 Lake Erie Chris Craft Commander / Roamer Rendezvous, second year in a row at Huron, Ohio, held in August of 2009 !! If you're a Commander fan, this will be an event you won't want to miss next time around.

We extend to you a cordial "WELCOME ABOARD !"

Goodbye to the Lancer!

Well, it had to happen... I've sold my 23 Lancer. It seems when I decided to downsize from the 35 Express,I went a bit too small. My 4 and 6 year-old want to overnight, SO, time to move on.
The Lancer has gone to a good home, and will be taken care of and be around for a long time to come.
Meanwhile, I'm on the hunt for a 31 Express... or possibly a 27 with twins...
Wish me luck!

John,
'
I was meeting a business client at Jack's last week and noticed a number of CC's on the hard along the drive back to the restaurant. Not sure, but one might have been a 31.

1968 31' Commander

July 5 2009, 6:54 PM

I was given a sale flyer last week of a 1968 31' Commander and it's listed for $8,000 or best offer. The guy that owned it passed away last year and his wife is selling it. I have not seen it and I'm not sure where it is. I thought they said it was here on the Ohio, but the guy selling it for the wife is Eric Kueckel (203) 542-0600. That is not a local exchange. The picture on the flyer goods good.
