Hello all from Lake Travis, TX.
With some good rains in the right areas we're up 14' from the low in December/January but still 40' below full. However, with the added 14' of elevation, we exchanged our repelling gear for flip flops and headed down to Sandy Creek Yacht Club for Easter dinner aboard a friends houseboat.
We were pulling away from the courtesy dock and look what had pulled in for dinner at Cafe Blue -
I think it's a 1951 based on the transom, which I didn't get a picture of. You folks in other parts of the country get to see wood boats all the time. I've seen 3 at our marina in 4 years. 2 Chris's and 1 Century. They're EXTREMELY rare around here. This one was a beaut.
