I am a very excited new owner of hull #67 CC Commander 31'. Boat is very complete except for the mast with anchor light. Any suggestions where I could find one? It would be the ss one with a male connector that mounted between the windscreen/windows. Also it appears my boat did not have running lights on the bow--could this be correct? If she did start life with them where were the mounted--nothing seems to be missing/replaced. She did, at one time, have the mast with light, since the receiver is still there. Thanks! Colleen
My dad and I made our own mast head, Was not that hard, but think of him when I put varnish on it every time. Nothing radical to make, same style but made out of mahogany.
I took off the old base filled the (leaking) screw holes with epoxy. Then 5200'd a new base to the "floor" to screw into. Instead of the fiberglass. Made connections as need be with quick disconnects. Which made the whole cross thing removable for winter storage, easy peasy.
This is one nice part of the boat to "make it your own" with style!
