WHY no dog?

unless it has been raining or it is early in the morning.He likely will leave no discernable track when leaving the water.That is why.Becaue he does leave something behind....Water,..and lots of it at first and since he loves to travel in shade and shadows it flows and then drips off of him for a long ways.With his long strides that can change direction and slow you down. You need a flashlight.Just whip the beam[yes in daylight] across the grass and weeds quickly side to side and watch for the it to wink back at you.It'll help you find his trail and let you follow it amazingly faster than without it! I'll make a tracker out of you yet! Dogs love to go in and out of the water.Again,leave him at home!
