the answer may be that rainfall amount,deep woods,everything else is irrelevent to COMFORT.If we accept the fact that he has been in the woods and lived off the land longer than any other humanoid,primate or whatever you want to call him.Then he knows more about that aspect of his being and history than any of us as well as any scientist and etc.I can only relate that much of what Al Ostman said was identical to what I witnessed,to you all it means nothing.To me ,it means his story is basically a true one.That the females duck walk,that they know how to weave plants into useful items and that they use every concievable trick of light and shadow to stay hidden. These three things I have determined.The now famous call blasting yodel I have not determined.But the sound of his laughter I know,the word OOOK,I know...these ARE in his vocabulary.When any of you get to this point or beyond,then you will be so close to the prize that you may be the ONE.I am too old and weak to continue,but maybe you will get it done.They are very real,and the most elusive of any creatures anyone could ever imagine.I might not get the million,but nobody was closer!Except maybe Ostman himself.
