Interesting answer

not what I was expecting.It does explain a couple of things I observed regarding the creatures habitat and their use of it. In looking for a denning area, a place for catnaps day or night time never crossed my mind and I think you hit the nail on the head. Now I know what they might have been doing on at least one occasion when we nearly crossed paths in the thick stuff.
