the last entry I can find about an operating ferry is a 1939 road map that ends at the Wisconsin border on old 35 or aka ferry landing road north of Danbury.Today it is only dirt road and woods on either side.You can drive to the rivers edge on the Wisconsin side,on the Minnesota side it's a mudfest! All the rest are bridges,many built by the CCC boys at Riverside and over the Namakagon.There is an old foundation nearby there that could have been the operators domicile.Now the hole is filled with trash!
