MICRO-CLIMATESby LeFootseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Ole Murph has been preaching this for years........so i decided to test his "theory"and you know what?.....makes alot of sense after visiting several "micro-climates" across central Minnesota in the last week....These small areas set aside for migrating waterfowl and upland creatures. Some of these areas are just marsh and wild rice that is not allowed to be picked.Very interesting places. While hunting and fishing and wildlife watching is allowed in these areas camping is by permit only.Ane generally are not given out unless attached to or part of a state forrest and then by post camp area only.$21.00a night.Anyways these areas I visited could certainly provide year round habitate for bigfoot creatures AND with a little enginuity Biggy could thrive.Think about it wild rice.waterfowl/eggs,fish during spawn, deer, rabitts.turkeys, cattails for pancake flour, frogs, from what i observed there was a bounty of natural resources and they polka-dot across minnesota west to east and north and south. Many are small lakes surrounded by state forrest others surrounded by farms and private property. There was an abundance of wildlife observed in these wildlife management areas.WMA's. check them out,,,,,,,,,, they're cool!,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :) Posted on May 7, 2009, 6:40 AM from IP address 64.12.116.7Respond to this message
