What he does has little to do with the search.The compilation of records and tv publicity may have some value.However they are little explained and not broken down .If they are ,it is not deseminated to the public other than in generalizations and speculation.But the fact is,there is nobody alive today who can defeat the legend of Bigfoot!He breathes better air ,is stronger,better at the hide and seek game AND whatever happens ,has no idea of the consequences for his race or species, however science reluctantly lists it! He might forever be an enigma.I live in the woods and breathe better air than city folk.Yet,I smoke,I drink and ocassionally the other vice as well.We have no idea what Bigfoot is doing.We DO KNOW,he is doing it out of sight,which is clue # 1. As midwesterners where is the last place you want to visit on a devilishly hot day? A swamp maybe? Well, I tell you what ,the air is both better and cooler down there,as long as it is forty or more feet below grade and has some significant moisture content!AS far as the Giganto theory,too many eons have passed.This guy could well be any of dozens of suspects.In the northern woods and swamps,eating foods heavy on fish ,crayfish and fat/tallow.He SHOULD BE ,bigger,stronger ,and more energenic than us.As well as smarter!!!,as he has proved to be for eons.So don't feel bad.The truth is sometimes hard to face,but dammit,this sucker is better than all of us.Beckjord,as crazy as he was, will sleep better knowing you accept this theory.As it is probably the closest thing to the truth you will ever hear on the subject.Curt Nelson is my pick to solve this thing,he has real smarts and woods experience on his side.This is not because he is a friend and fellow trekker.It is because ,ha ,hah,he is younger and unfortunately with younger ,better, equipment than I have!Scientifically speaking you understand!Physically--- to be determined!!!
