Maybe, maybe not

Plenty of kids have no idea what they want to select as their major when they apply to colleges. Many of those who think they do know, end up changing their minds. Furthermore, we don't need you telling us how are child should choose her college! Your statement that "your child should be choosing a school for her major first..." is not only arrogant and rude, but misguided as well. Many of us might think that our daughters should make academic rigor and standards the primary focus.
