In addition to the cost, where does your kid want to go, to pursue academics?

Cost is certainly a factor, but having the right academic programs, facilities, dorms, and climate/culture, is also a top consideration.
Regardless of whether your kid can get into the school, does the school offer the academic program your kid wants to pursue? Does it have a wide variety of other programs, if your kid decides to swich majors? What are the teaching facilities like? What are the professors like? What are the dorms like?
If your kid got a career-ending injury the first day of practice, would he/she attend that school for the rest of the four years? Or is it just the soccer that's the attraction?
In reality, socccer and the team are usually a third or fourth consideration.
