Truth is no one wanted this job. Soccer at Georgia State is an after thought. No on campus facility and less support than most of the other teams in the conference. The pay is less than the other DIs and some of the DIIs in the state. There is no potential for camps. A lot of good coaches were contacted about the job and no one wanted it. They found some one who would take it. Smart move on Leader's part because the SMU program has been under a lot of scrutiny. Get out before the seat at SMU got too hot. Spin it however you want, but an unproven youth coach with a fancy title at an under performing program is not a good hire. He might do well, but this is a difficult job and the smart coaches passed.
