The mens program is a national power while the women are pretty weak

Haven't both Darton and Young Harris won JUCO national championships on the girl's side in recent years?

Young Harris has won once. Darton hosted the national tournament twice but didn't qualify for the tournament.

Darton went to national championship game in 2005 and lost 2-1. They hold the record for most wins in a season and consecutive wins in a season, 25.

I believe that was indicated in the post. What are you just an ass by nature or do you have to work at it?

By the way, judging from this site

http://www.njcaa.org/sports.cfm?sid=31&divid=1&gender=w&slid=16&menu=33&sportslist=16

there appear to be plenty of openings still left for Fall 08 in the GA JUCO region schools for GA girls wanting to take of advantage of HOPE plus maybe some extra $$$ and actual playing time. And before someone pipes up about the "inferior" level of play, I am just pointing out this info for what it worth.

The top two girls teams, Darton and Young Harris have been national caliber teams the past several years. Big gap between them and the rest, but hey it's still two years of the general course curriculum plus 100% playing time as a fresh/soph.

Darton girls hosted and they were in the tournament last year (2007). I don't remember how far they went in the tournament. In 2006 when Young Harris won the nationals, they had to squeak by Darton for the state and a lot of folks considered that game the "real" national championship but only one gets to advance.
