Blake Brettschneider scores his first MLS goal

Blake Brettschneider scored his first MLS goal for D.C. United in a 4 to 2 loss against the San Jose Earthquakes Saturday night June 11. He had his first two assist last week in a game against Portland. Blake played his high school soccer at Parkview and in college for the South Carolina Gamecocks. He played club soccer for 12 years at GSA and finished his club soccer with the Atlanta Fire. Blake is from Lilburn, GA.

What does that expression really mean?

Nothing against Brett, but that expression was always associated with the kid that was good, but not great. Some have to work harder than others just be average. That aside, congrats to Brett for making it to MLS level of soccer.
