| Armstong beats CSU 1-0 with 12 seconds left in the game. Oh...and Armstrong also had 13 players on the field. CSU protests. Ref still called the game a win for Armstrong. |

Sorry, how does 13 v 11 = sore losers. If CSU is waiting for the change they are not prepared. |

If 13 players on the field is the case than I would rather be a sore loser than a sore winner. Accepting a trophy when you know you are cheating. Was it addressed to the ref? |

How long did they have 13 in? Why did they? Was it on accident? Hopefully not for long bc that's bad coaching by CSU to not notice or say anything!! Easy to complain after!! |

You make it sound like 13 players were on the field when the goal was scored. Over a minute was played including a good scoring chance for Columbus before AASU scored. Stop the lies CSU. |

AASU scored way after the alleged substitution ordeal and no one was complaining about it when CSU had a break away in between that and the goal. AASU scored with only 11 people on the field. No cheating was involved. |

Yes..Armstrong's staff and players were aware they had too many players on the field. Ref was addressed about it by CSU. Maybe they will file a complaint. Still Armstrong was playing with 13. CSU with 11. |

Not crazy...sorry..there were 13 players on the field. But you have the "W" so that should be all you need. I have heard of sore losers, but not sore winners |

Not sore winners just have a problem with getting called cheaters. When that is so far from the truth. |

It could not have been for very long and if it was then the CSU staff, players and fans must be blind even if it were for a few seconds. |

| Just watched the video and .... | November 8 2011, 9:35 AM |
nothing close to what is being said happened. Two subs were made right before the corner kick and both players coming off were within a few yards of the sideline when the ball was played. One was at least 65 yards from the corner kick with her back to the play and the other was at midfield with her back to the play. Those are the facts. |

Center ref did not see the side ref allow the2players coming on to sub. |

Only one went on and someone went off for her. The other one did not enter the field nor get involved in any play. She stood on the sideline waiting to go in but did not actually enter. |

It was the referees fault. Not Armstrong Atlantic. The center ref allowed 2 players on the field to substitute without the other 2 coming off NCAA rule regarding number of players: . 3.1 Number of Players The game shall be played by two teams of 11 players each, one of whom shall be the goalkeeper. In addition, a minimum of seven players are required to start and finish a game.

I don't think anyone blames AASU for the refs mistake but they could have taken the high road and asked for a restart. |

A restart when exactly? When the goal was scored there was several plays before it including a columbus break away and there was not 13 players on the field! |

Two people did not get subbed in! Only one and the player she went on for ran off the field. There was never 13 players on the field! |

There was 12 on the field, but the 12th was standing next to the official who was doing the subs. At no point was she ever involved in the play. He made sure that she stayed right next to him. He attempted to signal the main official but he was never acknowledged. When it was apparent that the main official was not going to acknowledge the sub she was backed off the field. At no point was she involved in any play, contact the ball, or marked by a CSU player. Since the corner kick was on the opposite side of the field the CSU players probably did not even see her. |

The point is the goal was scored way after the "events" happened. Watch the video. Good luck to both teams in NCAA. |

The substitution "situation" is something invented by CSU supporters to make them feel better. There was never 13 players on the field. There might have been 12 players on the field with the extra player headed off the field five yards from the AASU bench when a corner kick was taken. This all happened with over a minute left in the game. Not involved at all in the play. During the next minute, Columbus has a great counterattack and almost has a goal scoring chance and AASU countered the other way to score. During this whole minute, it was 11v11. Watch the video, its clear as day. AASU lost both starting center backs to injury. CSU cheap shot on Bahr sent her out of the game early. AASU goalkeeper finished the game hurt and was on crutches at the end of the game. All that, and you still couldn't win. Have some class. It was a hard fought match by both teams. Center ref was your friend early when your keeper pulled down #25 in the box, wasn't he. Only gave a yellow card. |

You have No beef on this one. Counter play started from a missed 4 on 2 opportunity that the defender cleared etc... and a pass later AASU was in behing your defense. Unfortunate as only 12 seconds were remaining, but to claim the officiating had an impact on the events that transpired is ridiculous. |
