As the father of a D! women's soccer athlete just finishing her senior year, the journey is over...she has turned down a chance to play elsewhere, and her soccer shoes are retired.
As I write this, I am finally finished with this silly forum...I want to say that most of the information on this site is really useless.
From little kids soccer to club, to ODP, recruiting, college, most of what you read here is BS.
Just enjoy your kid's games, make sure they have fun, and appreciate the game. Everything else, who coaches who, who makes ODP, who gets a scholarship, is pretty petty stuff.
Instead of going back and forth on here, you would be better served by taking action on your own and leave the whining and back biting to the readers on here.
By the way, most of the coaches who are so worshiped on this and the other forum, are in it for their own ego, not in the interest of your player.

season ended like 5 months ago...why now for this post?

the season ends, but the BS on here never ends, believe me, I have watched the comments on the Ga forum and the emeritus forum for a very long time, and it is amazing to me looking back how people can get so excited about...who coaches who, who makes ODP, who is recruited by what team...my daughter was not a big recruit, she got a chance at a D! school and made the most out of it...she was a four year player, and starter at a major college....almost all of the GREAT players she played with in club, never played, or quit....The main point of my post was to not take this stupid forum so seriously, it is just gossip and petty backbiting...if you have a child playing soccer, instill a love of the game, encourage them to do their best...that is it
