| GCSU had a couple of breakaways late in 1st half, and missed by inches with 1 minute to go. Mercer was lucky they won this game on their own field.
Mercer was clearly better team, but GCSU clearly showed no fear in playing a superior opponent.
GCSU looked to be on the up and up and should have a good year in the PBC.
Mercer is going to struggle this year a great deal. No good center mids. Just some athletes up top at forward and a shaky back line that turned over the ball and gave up easy break aways.

Mercer was the superior team even though they weren't interested in playing and GCSU was fighting like a playoff game.
