"The $13.5 million on-campus complex, funded by an already-approved student fee, includes soccer, softball and baseball fields. The baseball venue will have 800 seats, the softball complex will have seating for 600 and the soccer field will have plenty of hillside seating." |

Does anyone know how recruiting went for Dom? Did he pull a squad together for next year? |

not enough players to field a team and won't play...what a stupid question and they will play at such a low level that there are plenty of Athena B and C players who can fill the roster. |

I'm sure there are a lot of transfer players and good incoming freshman. Even plenty of Junior college players to get the team started this year and maybe even surprise a few teams. DM will continue to recruit the same way he did at GSU. Probably even better when the facility is completed early next year. |

...actually heard from a semi-reliable source that they are waiting on the end of the bond sale at which point the construction begins. Same reliable source says it will be worth the wait. |

I'm sure Dom is out selling the bonds at State Cup this weekend. Stay away from him. He is a good salesman. We will see what happens. |

This was in todays paper. Looks like they are going to get started on the facility soon.
Georgia Gwinnett College has launched its official website for Grizzly athletics. The site is designed to provide comprehensive information about all facets of the college's new intercollegiate athletics program, which debuts in August.
The athletics website may be found at www.grizzlyathletics.com. It also links from the GGC Life tab at the top of the college's homepage at www.ggc.edu.
"We are excited to roll out our new website and we think the students and community will find it informative and fun," said Darin Wilson, GGC's athletic director.
The Grizzlies' first intercollegiate event is an Aug. 25 doubleheader against Tennessee Temple University in men's and women's soccer. The college plans to break ground on its new intercollegiate athletics complex in the coming weeks.
