I'm rather new to flyfishing and was wondering what are considered the top brands and starter rods, reels, and line. Any opinions would truely help. Thanks!
You could get the new Sage reel 1800 series for $140 and you could get a Sage Launch rod for $175-200, depending on whether you got a 2 piece or 4 piece rod.
I wouldn't think that you could go wrong with this package.

i am looking for new rod to use for trout&sea trout mainly on small rivers
in cornwall uk as every body seems to like their sage rods anybody got any suggestions about what would be suitable.I have been using a hardy swift
mark 1 but at 9ft 6ins this is to long
