Get a Redington insteadAugust 17 2007 at 9:54 PM | Chris |
| Can't say I can recommend these rods. I had one break in the middle of a cast about 2 months after I bought it. Even though they have a lifetime warranty, I had a hard time getting them to honor it.
I'm not a Redington fanboy or anything, but since these two rods are often compared against each other I just thought I'd give my experience. I actually started out with a Red.fly pole and I'm now on to the RS3. These have been great rods for me. Durable, great action, and they cast very well for their price. I'd highly recommend Redington over TFO. |

| TFO Rods - $70 more gets you a Winston | September 30 2007, 3:56 AM |
I agree. I just bought the TiCrx - apparently the top-of-the-line in this series - and it's a broom. I'm sending it back.
My advice - spend another $70 and get a Winston Vapor. That's what I did. Now that's a fly rod! |
