Read a recent review of this rod for steelhead fishing, specifically the 11' 7wt. Anyone else have an opinion on this. The review I read was glowing saying t was the best steelhead rod this guy had ever used. Would love a long fly pole for steelies and this seems to fit the bill. The price is quite high though (over $600). Any help is appreciated.

I had a 9 foot 5wt for trout fishing. Did not like it at all. Soft slow rod with absurdly soft tip. Could not handle wind well at all. Upside was that since I bought it 2nd hand I sold it for what I had into it. Replaced with a Cabela's Ltech, a much faster and appropriate rod for my tastes.
