Winston Boron II

I thought I would weigh in on this site. I am considering buying a 7wt for some windy fishing conditions in Wyoming and Chile, but am tying to decipher between the IIx and IIMX in stiffness. I own two other Winstons, a 2 wt and a 5 wt Boron II. Both of these rods are extremely comfortable to cast because the cork handles are slightly smaller than other rods such as the Sage and Loomis. Compared to my 5 wt Sage XP, the Winston does not have quite as much punch, but it has a better, lighter feel and softer tip which I like in all but windy conditions. I am hoping with the 7wt I will get the punch I need plus the comfort and finesse.
