Hi, Im new to all this, I wonder if anyone else has the same problems as me.
My dad died of head and throat cancer in Feb 2001, we were extremely close and miss him like mad.

My problem is, I keep having horrible dreams about him, and you are all going to think I am weird, but Ive dreamt that hes tried to rape me, and a couple of times I have dreamt Ive caught him masterbating. These dreams are absolutely horrible and I really dont know why Im dreaming of stuff like that.

Can anyone help?

I havn't lost my dad but i lost my mum 7 months ago. Iwanted to respond to you because i felt bad for you. That must be so difficult to understand. I have had dreams like that about my dad and I really don't think they mean anything. What kind of relationship did you have with him? sometimes it can be unresolved issues about the person who was more dominant in the relationship and our mind just uses a sexual metaphor to represent that. It is disturbing but you need to remember that it is just a dream and try to relax about it.
