It's been a while since I posted on here, although I have been reading the messages.
I went to Ukraine a few weeks back for my son's wedding which was great. I did feel really sad that my mum, who passed away in May, wasn't there but we did raise our glasses to her.
Derry, I enjoyed your poem! Yes, we ladies are here for you! lol

Thanks for your kind words. I have been away and noticed it has gone quiet, so maybe everyone is coping a bit better just now., I hope so. I have had a couple of days up on the Yorkshire coast, walking. Found a great farmhouse B and B, with wonderful food, which for a single guy like me (well, not quite single these days!) is a great boost to morale. I saw a lovely phot of Pat at my daughter's that I hadn't seen before and kind of gulped. My special needs grandson was watching, and he finds that hard to handle, particularly as I had brought Barbara along. He thinks the world of her, but can't quite figure out what is going on. Neither can I sometime, but it feels pretty good after the last couple of years. Keep on keeping on, everyone, and if I can help, just let me know. Love,
