Best Kit or Materials for Torso?

Hello Everybody,

My name is Jennifer and I am an art student at George Mason University. For my senior gallery show, I would like to do a project that involves making a replica of a torso from the neck down to the knees with the arms included from the elbow up. It would only be half the torso (either the front or back).

I have never casted a body before. Can you all recommend what kit or what materials would be best for what I want to do? Any advice or tips are welcome too! Thank you so much.

Jennifer

that is not easy to answer, there is alot to it
I think what worked the best for me was ordering
the dvd from artmolds so youwill see that you will need:
alginate, plaster bandages ,plaster etc. That is a large
piece you have in mind and you will need a assistant to do it
it would take a few pages to tell you the whole process and i would
start with somthing much smaller. good luck
