To make a lasting mold of your plaster life casting, what do you suggest? I saw the brush on latex on artmolds site. Do you just brush it on, let it dry and no other steps? That is hard enough to repour plaster in? I want to make permanent molds of my casts from hands to torsos. Should I use a brush on latex or something pourable?
Any suggestions/advice are most welcome. Thankyou!

The best mold material is silicone rubber. It lasts virtually forever and is extremely durable. It's not cheap though.

urethane or silicone

Definately silicone or urethane if you're just casting plaster into it. Silicone is good for resins and plastics. I would stay away from Latex as it shrinks ALOT when drying and takes layers and layers (takes a long time to make the mold). Check out Polytek and Smooth-On websites for mold making. Make sure your life cast is sealed before putting silicone or urethane on it though.
