hello friends
a client approached me about babycasting. She will give birth to a baby soon and allready know this little one will not live longer then a few hrs to days. Should i make castings before or after death and i like to offer here to make a deathmask. How do i do this. What can i use in the hair for example. I tried to make 3 mask and mostly i screw up because of hair stuck in alginate. I dont want this to happen with a life less baby. That would look inprofessional and messy;I cannot seem to find the cholestorol cream some mentioned. Do i lay the baby down? please help me!

PLEASE RESPOND ASAP THERE IS NOT A BIG TIME WINDOW

I would wait until the poor thing has already gone and not make it suffer more than it's going to in it's short life. MoldEZ from Environmolds is what you can purchase. Or if you have a Sally's Beauty Supply around should carry it.

www.arizonasculpture.com has the MoldEZ

I did a quick Google and came up with these:
http://www.queenhelene.com//haircarechol2.php
http://www.walgreens.com/search/search_results.jsp?term=cholesterol

you might want to check your local Walgreens.

Good luck and practice again. You really don't want to mess something like this up.

Hair Release

Hi,

We make a hair release called MoldEZ to minimize tangling when using alginate. Rub it into the hair, then take some additional MoldEZ on your palm just before covering with alginate ad add it to the surface of the hair. That will work for you.
