It was B&W, taken in the 1930s, when Newburyport
engine terminal was on it's last legs, only
hosting Georgetown Branch power overnight and
the Amesbury switcher.
I walked the area plenty of times, when the
TT and roundhouse foundations were still visible,
but there wasn't much hint of the exact track
layout, or why the Low St. overpass had room for
at least 6 tracks. The easterly switch was up
by the tower foundation, and there is a pocket
in the retaining wall for another switchstand
in the curve in towards the TT.
