Haverhill, MA B&M railroad station

Does anyone have photos of the B&M station in Haverhill? Both before and after it was raised above street level? Any other pictures or info about the B&M in Haverhill would be welcome.
I grew up in Haverhill. In the 1940's and 50's my mother would take me and my brother to visit my grandmother who lived in Hyde Park, MA. We would take a train from Haverhil to North Station in Boston, then take the elevated/subway train to Forest Hills. We would then take a street car to Cleary square, where we would walk up Oak St. to my grandmother's house. It was quite a trip in those days. Sometimes it would be a steam locomotive and sometimes a diesel. I imagine the steamers were Pacifics. I always liked the locomotives with Elesco feedwater heaters although I did not know what they were at the time.
Coming back to Haverhil I always wanted to go further north than Haverhill but never did. I was always curious to see what lie beyond the Louis Hamel Leather Co.
Thanks for any info.

Hi ferro.
Thanks for this web site. Unfortunately it has no pictures of the Haverhill station.
There is a picture of the freight house on Hale St. but that's it.
Thanks again.

JC,

Perhaps I should have been more specific. Look in the postcard archive of the web site, not the stations index.

Thanks. That's great. Good pictures of Haverhill station and a lot of others.
I have some other pictures that I got at the Haverhill Public Library years ago. As soon as I get them scanned and figure out how to post them here, I'll do it
Thanks again. John
